Both my wife (Carol) and I would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful service we received at West Shore Golf and Country Club on Saturday, May 22, 2010. Our wedding day was made even more special because of the way our reception was taken care of by your catering service. You were there for us from the planning stages right through the event day.

Just to go over why we enjoyed our day:

1. The service, you provided, including the bar staff was outstanding. They were courteous, pleasant, well-mannered, and very capable.

2. The appetizers were varied and most tasty.

3. The tables were set and placed exactly as we wanted.

4. The menu was delicious. Well prepared and plentiful.

5. You were there to attend our every need. Needless to say our heartfelt thanks goes out to yourself and West Shore for making our special day, even more special. My wife and I were planning our wedding and defining the things that were important to us. On the top of the list was having a meal which was one people would remember. We were looking for not only good food, but someone who was exceptional at presenting the meal to our guests. We believe it is not only important to have good quality but also the appearance of how it is plated.

David Graham met all our expectations and more. The entire experience was outstanding. The appetizers were delicious and well displayed. Him and his staff ensured the layout was welcoming and arranged to create a comfortable atmosphere for all. As we progressed to dinner, everyone was served at the same time. This may not seem important, but having one table eating salad and the other starting the main course is disruptive to the evening. They kept things moving and ensured the guests had everything they needed.

We received several compliments on the quality of the meal. Many guests were surprised at how well everything tasted and the portions they received. No one left hungry or feeling they did not get the best meal they have had in a long time. We were especially pleased with our meal and amazed with the quality. The timing was perfect, not taking too long between salad, main course, and cake. The evening had a comfortable flow and allowed for conversation and mingling at friendly pace.

From our experience, it was a perfect event made possible by David Graham and his team. Not once was I worried about the success of the evening as he is very professional and assuring of his attention to details making it a memorable event. We would highly recommend using him to cater any event.

To Whom It May Concern,

For my daughter’s wedding reception, my wife and I used Ford Yacht Club to host this event. At the time we were making the wedding reception arrangements, we were told that David Graham Events will cater the food for the wedding reception.

Since we had not had a meal prepared by David Graham, my wife and I decided we would go to Ford Yacht Club for dinner. David Graham didn’t know the date for our dinner_ My wife, daughter, her future husband and I ordered different meals from Ford Yacht Clubs menu to get an idea of the food prepared by David Graham. All of us agreed we had made a wise choice for the wedding reception place and especially the food.

After the wedding reception meal was served, my wife and I were presently surprised by the amount of complements we received from our guests about Ford Yacht Clubs facilities and how David Graham Events had prepared and presented the hors-d oeuvres, the main meal, especially the 3 different entrées, and the attention his wait staff gave to each table served.

This wasn’t a large reception, 125 people, but to hear these complements from such a diverse group of people, means I would not hesitate recommending and using David Graham Events for any food catering party I would need in the future.

I also sent a letter to the Ford Yacht Clubs BOA thanking them for making my daughter’s wedding reception a very memorable occasion, especially their facilities and the food prepared by David Graham Events.

We have been planning events for the last 18 years and have used varies different caterers throughout the years for special associations, business events, personal events, celebrations and social gathering never have we received so many compliments on the food we served. We were not only impressed with the quality and freshness of the food but the quantity and serve were as equally amazing. You will definitely be our caterer of choice for all our future events; our only regret is we didn’t find you 18 years ago. I would also like to share a bit of a funny story that has never happened to us during any past event, several guests asked “if you have any leftover food would it be possible for us to just take a little home for tomorrow” we had so many ask that I sent my sister to her nearby home to get some Styrofoam fast food type containers, I managed to get some for myself before it all quickly disappeared. I did reheat it the next day and because of your freshness and quality it was just as moist and delicious the next day!

I forgot to mention one thing and perhaps it is the most important your niche in the catering market is your Value; we really felt that the value for the money exceeded anyone else we have ever used in the past. Detroit Edison has requested My Granny’s Catering services on numerous occasions (both formal and informal) over the past several years. The quality and presentation of his food has been outstanding.

Mr. Graham has catered delicious, reasonably-priced meals for our entire Service Center. My Granny’s has met all of our varied catering needs. As an example, he has been called at a moment’s notice during storm situations.
